Vel Vel: A Sonic Walk

A web app that combines sound, mapping and photography to recreate the music, sights and sounds of Thaipusam. Vel Vel: A Sonic Walk may be experienced while walking the Thaipusam route in Singapore’s city centre, or from anywhere in the world.

Presented by The Arts House, the audio-visual online experience ran from January 2021 – January 2022. It was exhibited at the Gwangju Design Biennale 2021.
